The first wave of the science and drilling staff have reached McMurdo and they are preparing for moving staff and equipment to WAIS Divide. Don Voigt gave a great Sunday night science lecture to the McMurdo community that explained what we have been doing at WAIS Divide and how our work can help policy makers make informed decisions. These lectures are an important way to give back to the USAP community and are a way of showing how much we appreciate all the effort that goes into supporting our science.
